The company’s rapid growth, however, presented challenges. Secured Transport’s operational systems were no longer viable for the demands of their sustained growth.
The Secured Transport team was manually vetting thousands of carriers through an extensive, time-consuming process that involved Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration searches, rating-system reviews, inspection, injury and crash reports as well as insurance confirmations. Without an advanced transportation management system (TMS), the storing and tracking of this research had become burdensome for the team.
