A Look Back at Super Dispatch in 2022 (2)

Every year since its inception in 2013, Super Dispatch has continued to grow, evolve, and build on what has come before. This year has been no different, with 2022 being a huge year for Super Dispatch. In this year alone, over 5.2 million cars were delivered using Super Dispatch’s platform, with vehicles getting picked up and delivered across all fifty states in the country in just the last thirty days.

Of course, none of this could have been possible without our amazing community of Shippers and Carriers, who are both equally committed to helping change the auto industry for the better.

Throughout the year, our team has launched several great new features both large and small, and have worked hard to ensure our users have the best experience possible. Here is a look back at some of the biggest updates and changes that Super Dispatch has made in 2022.

GPS Tracking

Way back in February of this year, we introduced GPS tracking which was one of the most requested features by our users. The feature allows users on both the Shippers’ and customer end to track shipments via real-time, GPS tracking.

With it, users were given the ability to easily track drivers and see the status of shipments to gain the visibility they deserve and improve communication across teams. For Shippers, on a customer service level, offering customers some peace of mind with shareable tracking has been a gamechanger to provide that “Amazon” experience. It’s even helped to improve safety by allowing auto transport businesses to help navigate drivers on the safest routes possible, and in the end, saves time and improves speed to delivery.

“We love that we can track our trucks through the software and get immediately notified when vehicles are picked up and delivered.” -Bill B., Owner (Capterra)

Single Sign-On (SSO)

With cybercrimes higher now than ever before, Super Dispatch understands that users need to have better security measures in place in order to minimize risk. For this reason, earlier this year Super Dispatch added the ability for users to turn on SSO (Single Sign-On).

SSO helps to protect your business’s sensitive data from bad actors, through the use of an easily manageable advanced authentication system. One of the added advantages of using an SSO over traditional login methods is that Shippers can manage their own users via adding, editing, and deactivating users’ login permissions with just a few mouse clicks, without having to get in contact with our Support team.

“The SSO feature makes onboarding and offboarding team members quick and secure, eliminates the need for additional manual admin work, and simplifies the user experience.” -Eric F., Guardian

Pricing Engine Accuracy

Additionally, our team made some significant changes to our Pricing Engine Tool, which is an easy-to-use tool that simplifies how Shippers price their loads by using industry data to determine the best prices of specific loads. This year, the tool has been fine-tuned in order to be even more accurate.

Some major benefits of the pricing engine are its ability to save time by finding the best prices quicker than before, its connectivity to third party tools through APIs, and that it’s available straight from the Shipper TMS. Overall, this great tool has now become even better.

Marketplace Trust Changes

The true key to successful auto transport transactions is a trusted and reliable relationship between Carriers and Shippers. In an effort to help nurture this trust and protect Carriers’ reputation from bad actors, we released a major change in our load board policy. Starting in September, Carriers who have not been vetted or verified, could not request loads via Super Loadboard. This change essentially now makes the verification process for Carriers required to ensure every transaction on Super Dispatch is compliant and reliable.

This change was made in order to add an extra level of checks and balances to our system that we found was absent in some other load boards. Additionally, we also wanted to offer a higher level of transparency and trust on our platform, and simplify the vetting process for our users.

“This shows work towards making sure that the folks using the Loadboard are all playing by the same rules.” -Jay W., Auto Transport Intel

Loads Along the Route

Finally, just earlier this month we introduced Loads Along the Route, which is a new feature found within the Super Loadboard that simplifies the process of searching for loads.

Loads Along the Route can save hours of time that may have otherwise been spent manually searching load boards, and allow drivers to maximize the number of loads delivered during trips. Loads Along the Route saves drivers tons of time, effort, and frustration, and with it they can make more money than ever before.

More to Come in 2023

Super Dispatch’s team is excited to continue improving our platform in 2023 and beyond, and have a slew of brand new and exciting features planned for this next year.

If you work in the auto transport industry but don’t already use Super Dispatch, then consider trying it out today. Super Dispatch is an all-in-one platform that packs in both a Carrier TMS for car haulers or a Shipper TMS for brokers, dealers, and auto auctions, as well as an advanced load board which allows you to book loads 24/7, automate your manual workflows, and securely organize your back office in one place. Carriers can try it out for free, and Shippers can request a demo!
