What’s New at Super Dispatch: Summer Roundup 2026

Margins are tight and getting tighter. Diesel is running roughly $2 a gallon above where it was this time last year, which makes knowing exactly what a load pays, and what it costs you, more important than it used to be. Meanwhile, fraud keeps getting more sophisticated. Less of it looks like a break-in and more of it looks like ordinary business: a carrier profile that checks out, paperwork that looks right, and a vehicle handed to someone who had no right to it.

Most of what we shipped this summer focuses on those two pressures: more of the numbers you need before you accept or price a load, tighter control over who can see sensitive pickup documents, sharper fraud detection, and a set of workflow changes that cut steps out of the day.

Here is what is new at Super Dispatch.

Product Highlight: Gate Pass Protection, now on the API

Available to everyone, including on API

In our last update we shared that Gate Pass Protection was live in the Shipper TMS, allowing shippers to mark sensitive pickup documents as location protected, so they stay locked to the assigned driver until they reach the pickup location.

Today that same control is available in the API.

The details of how it works: Gate Pass Protection lets shippers mark specific attachments, like a gate pass or vehicle release form, as location protected. Those documents stay locked to the assigned driver until they are within about a mile of the pickup location. The driver taps the attachment when they arrive and it opens. No dispatcher approval, no support ticket, and no window where a sensitive document is sitting unlocked in an app two states away.

What’s new is that it’s now available to everyone using the Super Dispatch API. So if your team creates orders and manages attachments programmatically and a lot of you do) you have to leave your own system to protect a document. Now you can set it through the public API, with the same behavior as the TMS.

To use it, the attachment needs to be shared with the carrier, the order needs a full pickup address, a carrier needs to be assigned to the load, and the driver needs location services turned on.

Why it matters: Deceptive pickup fraud works because a document reaches the wrong hands before anyone notices. Locking the document to a physical location closes that window, and putting the control on the API means it can be your default on every order rather than something a coordinator remembers to click. If you run high-value or auction freight through an integration, this is the single most useful thing in this update.

For Carriers

Operational updates

Available now

Three things you used to find out only after taking a load now show up before you do.

Your real payout, upfront. You see the broker fee and your net take on COD orders before you accept. The Payment section shows a dedicated broker fee line next to the full price, and it appears in the offer view, the offer email, the public load offer, and the Load Offers drawer.

Nearby loads while you book. Open the booking dialog on a posting and you will see other loads from the same shipper with a pickup or delivery within 50 miles, so you can build a full trip in one sitting instead of hunting for a backhaul afterward.

A comment with your bid. Attach your availability, equipment notes, or a counter-offer when you bid. The shipper sees it next to your number.

Why it matters: Fees, nearby freight, and bid context are all now visible at the point of decision, which means fewer calls to confirm details before a load gets covered.

Update your own bank account

Available now

Changing your SuperPay bank account used to mean emailing Support a voided check and waiting for someone to process it. Now there is a Change Bank Account button in SuperPay settings. You confirm with a code sent by email or text, and verification is instant.

We tightened the security around banking details at the same time. Only admin and accountant roles can see or change them. Full details are encrypted and masked to the last four digits. Every change is written to your company activity log in the Dashboard tab and emailed to you. And if your account email or phone number changes, banking updates are locked for 24 hours. The same protections now cover your ACH payment info, and you can see what your previous payment method was whenever it changes.

Why it matters: SuperPay Bank updates now happen in minutes, with verification built into the flow and every change logged in your company activity log and emailed to you.

Coming Soon: Enhanced Carrier Reporting

We’re improving reporting inside Super Dispatch to bring your business performance into one place: revenue, expenses, loads delivered, and invoice status, at a glance, for whatever period you choose.

Your existing reporting will not go away, but you will now have a new dashboard that will allow you to see:

  • If you’re profitable after driver pay and broker fees, not just top-line revenue
  • Overdue invoices and how long they’ve been sitting, so you can chase payment without running a report
  • Booked vs. delivered loads over time, by driver or by shipper
  • And more!

Enhanced Reporting is currently in beta with a select group of carriers and will roll out to all subscribers soon. Want early access? Chat with Support and ask them to turn it on for your account.

For Shippers

Pricing Insights Pro improvements

Available now

We’ve improved the Pricing Insights Pro algorithm and rolled out new API updates to help you price loads with more confidence. You now get a price range, a confidence score, and comparable moves and volume – everything you need to know exactly where a load should land, right when you need it.

Get the details of the updates in the changelog.

Why it matters: The confidence score tells you how much history sits behind each number, so you know when to price straight off the recommendation and when to lean on your own read of the lane.

Publish your business hours

Available now

You can now add pickup and delivery hours to your locations, and carriers see them before they commit to a load. Hours travel everywhere the load does: your order view, the Super Loadboard posting, Carrier TMS, the Driver App, load offer emails, and the public load offer page. Set them on Terminals and Customers, or inline while you are creating or editing an order, including in bulk.

Why it matters:

Set your hours once on a location and they carry to every load posted from it. Carriers can see whether a window fits their route before they commit, which means fewer calls to confirm and more pickups and deliveries that land inside the hours you actually operate.

Insurance quoting and management

Available now

Shipper’s Interest insurance, built in partnership with Tint, lets shippers get a quote and buy coverage for each vehicle directly within an order. Now available via the API and on Shipper TMS in the Insurance tab, shippers can quote premium prices at any time. Another API allows a shipper to purchase policy insurance on Tint’s platform and manage it (cancellation with refund, or start a claim).

Why it matters: This lets you offer insurance where your customer already is. Embedded in your own website, they see coverage priced alongside transport. In your CRM, a rep can quote it live on a call. In Shipper TMS, any user with access can calculate premium price. Either way it stops being a separate conversation that happens after the deal is done.

Additional shipper updates

  • Require a VIN scan before inspection. A new setting in General settings requires the driver to scan the VIN before starting the pickup or dropoff inspection.
  • Include deleted VINs in reports. A filter to bring deleted vehicles into the vehicles report.
  • Help Center moved. Help Center and Contact Support now live in the account menu instead of a widget sitting over your screen. A one-time in-app tour points to the new location.
  • FMCSA links now open Motus. “View on FMCSA” is now “View on Motus,” opening the carrier’s profile on motus.dot.gov matched by USDOT number.

SuperProtect: better detection, fewer false alarms

Available now

  • Monthly monitored carrier reports. Choose any available month and get an emailed report listing every monitored carrier with name, DOT number, monitoring start date, and associated load IDs.
  • Out of service detection. When FMCSA marks a carrier out of service you see it, including the specific reason, such as “Out of Service, Imminent Hazard.” It also appears on the FMCSA snapshot.
  • Revoked verification. If a carrier’s verified status is pulled for suspicious activity or non-compliance, their status moves to Failed with that reason attached.
  • Sharper account takeover detection. Refined risk scoring on account activity, new burst detection for rapid account changes, and better detection of loads created without a driver. Detection improved 15% on medium-risk cases and 4% on high-risk ones.
  • Low-risk flags now visible. The Passed status drawer shows low-risk FMCSA signals, such as a recent MCS-150 update or contact details shared with another DOT, so a pass is not a black box. These do not trigger post-dispatch alerts.
  • Fewer false positives. A carrier adding or removing a phone number in FMCSA no longer counts toward their risk score.

Why it matters: More of the activity that tends to precede fraud now gets flagged, and fewer of the changes that predict nothing do. That keeps the alerts worth acting on, and the monthly report gives you a record of who was monitored and on which loads.

For API Teams

Everything here is new and an addition to what you already have integrated into your Super Dispatch account. Nothing about your integration changes unless you start using it.

Gate Pass Protection

Available now

Gate Pass Protection, now available via the API You can now turn on location-based protection for a gate pass directly through the API, matching what’s already available in Shipper TMS. When it’s on, the gate pass stays locked for the driver until they’re within a certain range of the pickup location, and uploads trigger VIN validation. If you manage attachments programmatically, you can now enforce this same protection without going through the UI.

Background:
How Gate Pass Protection works in the Driver App and Carrier TMS

Verifying Gate Pass access via the Activity Log

Manage SuperPay end to end, coming to the API API shippers will be able to work with SuperPay the same way Shipper TMS users do: see up-to-date payment status in real time, and put payments on hold, resume, cancel, or update them — all through the API. Until now, SuperPay orders placed via the API only returned a final “Paid” status, with no way to act on a payment programmatically. This closes that gap, so you get the same visibility and control as the TMS, without leaving your own system.

Carrier comments in load request webhooks

Available now

Carrier comments, now in load request webhooks When a carrier bids on one of your loads, they can attach a comment — availability, equipment notes, a counter-offer. That comment now comes through on every load request webhook event, so you can put it in front of your dispatchers right next to the bid amount.

Why it matters: A bid amount on its own does not explain itself. A carrier quoting above your target may be accounting for an enclosed trailer, an inoperable unit, or a tight window. Having that context arrive with the bid means your dispatchers can act on it immediately instead of chasing the reason down.
