How to Manage Loads in Carrier TMS

Learn step-by-step how to manage loads using Super Dispatch’s Carrier TMS, from requesting a load to invoicing, all without making a single phone call.

Are you ready to see how you can manage all your loads on Super Dispatch without ever making a single phone call?

Let’s jump right in and show you how it works. To get started we need to request a load. If the load isn’t priced quite right, you can quickly change the price, but since this rate looks good, let’s just click Send Request. It’s as easy as that.

Once the Shipper receives and accepts your request you will instantly see the load on the offers page. To accept the load simply open the load and click accept.

Now that you have accepted the load, simply click on it to open and view all the details.

Now you are ready to assign the load to a driver. With Carrier TMS we give you options. You can assign right from the load details page or you can return to your loads page and assign directly from the new tab.

The driver will get an instant notification that a load was assigned.

Once the load has been assigned, you will see that the load automatically moves to the assigned tab in both Carrier TMS and the Driver App.

When the load is picked up, you can mark the load as picked up from the Carrier TMS, but If your driver is using the Driver App and completes the pickup inspection and and marks the load picked up it will automatically update and move to the Picked Up tab in Carrier TMS without you having to do anything.

Carrier TMS also allows you to keep track of every load when using the Driver App. To find out where your loads are, simply click Tracking on the left navigation bar. Select the driver and instantly see where they are along the route.

Just like when the load was picked up, you can manually mark a load delivered, but if your driver is using the Driver App the load will automatically be updated in Carrier TMS when marked delivered from the app. The load now automatically moves to the delivered tab giving you an at-a-glance view of where your loads are in the process at all times.

Before sending an invoice, you can view the electronic bill of lading as well as the inspection photos as these will be automatically sent to the shipper.

Now that the load is delivered, let’s see how easy it is to send the invoice so you can get paid.

Simply click send invoice on the load from the delivered tab. Once the invoice is sent, the load automatically moves into the billed tab.

Then when payment is received, simply click on the load and mark as paid in Carrier TMS or the Driver App.

Now that this load has been paid, you can archive or delete the order. To archive simply click on archive and the order automatically moves into the archived tab. To delete the order click options, and select delete. The order will then be moved to the deleted tab.
